Every accessory below changes your light in a different way: some reshape it, some protect it, some just keep it running longer. Here's what each one actually does, and when you'd reach for it.
Diffusers are the most common accessory, and probably the first one you'll buy. They sit over your microlight and change how the light spreads: softer, sharper, bigger, whatever you're going for.

A bigger diffuser reads as more depth in your trails. Swapping shapes mid-set adds visual variety without changing anything else about how you move.
Diffuser caps are opaque (they fit over a diffuser or straight onto the microlight) and they're built for one thing: clean, recognizable 2D shapes.
Because they block light instead of spreading it, the shape reads as sharp contrast against a dark room. That precision is what makes them good for storytelling moments in a show (a heart, a star, whatever the piece calls for) where you want the audience to immediately recognize the shape.
EXO diffusers go further than caps or classic diffusers: they build an actual 3D form (a dodecahedron, a cube) inside the glove itself, around the microlight.
They're harder to find and pricier than a standard diffuser, which is part of the appeal. Nobody else's hands look like this. If you want your lightshow to have a signature element the other diffusers on this list can't produce, this is where you'd start.
